In a year as difficult as 2020, that the coronavirus came strong brought a scenario quite different from what the world was used to, Limpidus celebrates its 40 years of activities. It has been decades of dedication and effort, always seeking to offer the best cleaning solution, through innovative and technological alternatives. From its founding in 1980, facing challenges and overcoming obstacles seem like things that are already part of the company’s daily routine. After all, in its first year of life in Brasil, annual inflation reached 86% and after that there were countless challenging moments, successive economic plans with blocking savings, hyperinflation, freezes, tablitas, currency exchange, etc. This succession of events made the company start to face each crisis as a normal thing, a new challenge to be overcome, with work and creativity, but always trying to see the opportunities.
And it is no different with the coronavirus pandemic. Realizing that this would strongly affect all countries and also Brazil, the company that already operates in 10 other countries, began to research with its offices abroad, which products, equipment, EPIS’s, care, difficulties and procedures were being used in the fight to the virus. Understanding the situation and seeking to anticipate these measures allowed the company to be ready in early March 2020 to offer high performance disinfection services, with a guarantee of 3, 90 and 365 days.
The vision that the company always had, that “cleaning should be for health” has never been so in tune with reality. “In just a few months, there was a change in people’s perception of cleanliness that would take years to occur. Everyone now understands that cleanliness is not just an aesthetic thing, that products, methods, protocols, training are vital to ensure clean and healthy environments and not just beautiful ones ”comments Fernando Sodré, founder and president of Limpidus. In each scenario we look for creative and innovative solutions, making it clear how cleanliness is more than aesthetics, but a matter of health. This concern and the ease of reinvention in situations, is not new, after all, we were born in July 1980, when inflation in the country was 86%, we started by cleaning skating rinks, which at the time were fashionable. Today, these places hardly exist anymore. This is just one of the challenges we have faced over the years. We change over time and take our know-how to the world, always, cultivating a different look for the future. In this way, Limpidus network continued to expand, reaching new countries and regions like Peru and Bolivia, and with a schedule to land in New Zealand and Australia at the end of this year, since due to the pandemic, we had postponed it. For this reason, we believe that there is neither a magic formula for Limpidus to remain in the market during all these years, but that a success story like this was only written with real people, with the DNA of change and innovation, which constitutes Limpidus. Celebrating 40 years in the midst of this crisis is very important for us, as we see how getting here has not been easy, that we have overcome several barriers and challenges, and now it is not being different. Even if it is not as planned, because we will not be able to celebrate in person at a major event and we had to postpone our expansion until the end of the year, we will not be without celebration, much less without growth. We will continue to be increasingly better at what we do, bringing technological cleaning to the market, ensuring the health and well-being of people and environments. We will continue to write this successful trajectory for another 40 years!
