The fact is that at the beginning of the pandemic, what would have been a new life for companies abandoning their facilities, demonstrated be far from reality and it is already certain that the home office should not be perpetuated in an integral way for the great most companies.

The impact of the pandemic and the volume of uncertainties it brought, hit the understanding of work in offices and the relationships that arise from their daily use, issues linked to productivity, collaboration and integration between teams, created endless discussions about business models initially proposed works.

Professional life focused on screens with daily remote meetings and above all what seemed to be the freedom of professionals from their tables and chairs, sent to work anywhere in the world, have shown themselves to be lacking of a broad review, as presence in the office, whether for just a few days a week, proves to be much more important than imagined. The positive lessons of the pandemic for offices is precisely knowing how to use them flexibly, which does not mean abandon environments, but relearn how to use and humanize spaces that are well maintained, cleaning and disinfection of environments contribute by making spaces safe, allowing people to focus fully on their activities.

The flexibility of use of offices will provide moments of building trust and interaction and companies like Google, Facebook and IBM already think this way about the future of offices.

There is a whole body reading and coding in productive relationships in this flexible work area that cannot be seen in 100% remote work. The layouts and way of organizing offices are the biggest return learning. The work taken to the homes will not stay there forever, but will return in a new format with new interactions.

The need to be together, share and belong, built modern society. In organizations It is clear that this separation is a temporary necessity. If work formats and technology opened several doors for these relationships, it is also a fact that human relationships play an important role within of organizations.
